Are you ready to have the best year ever? The year where you meet your goals? The year you get your schedule, home life, work life, meal planning and life in general in order? Yep, me too. To help get us started on the right foot, I’ve rounded up some of the best planners for women.
I have tried to go to a completely digital planner. I really have. But I need to physically write things down and see them on paper for life to work. It’s just how I’m wired. I’m also wired to love pretty things. If my planner is boring, I have found I won’t use it.
What ends up happening is I’ll have a kazillion lists on sticky notes, in notebooks, on the back of receipts (seriously, it’s ridiculous) and on other random sheets of paper. If there’s one thing to make my brain feel a bit crazy, it’s when I can’t find that list or note that I know I wrote down…somewhere!
So, let’s get organized together, shall we? This is the time of year to start planning for the coming year. Although I often like to fly by the seat of my pants, planning ahead helps me reach my goals and that my friends, feels incredible. Imagine setting a goal to go through your house room by room tackling the clutter and getting rid of it. Or, doubling your income. Or running a 5k this summer. Or quitting your job and moving on to something more fulfilling. Those all sound incredible right? The only way they’re actually going to happen is with an actionable, step by step plan.
My planning consists of getting important dates on the calendar, setting some very specific goals for the year, with weekly and monthly steps on what I need to do in order to achieve that goal. Are you ready? Let’s do this!

Best Planners for Women
Erin Condren Life Planner
I love the idea of a completely customizable planner, where you can really make it work for you. With the ECLP you choose your cover, layout and design. Once you go Erin Condren, you don’t go back. (That’s what I hear anyway!) Between the way it’s laid out, to the stickers and other accessories you can add, using one of these just makes planning life really dang fun.
The bloom Planners have just about every cover to choose from you could imagine. I love this gold one for the design and the words. “She designed a life she loved.” I want people to say that about me, don’t you? This one features two page monthly view spreads, followed by spacious weekly views. It also has monthly tabs and pockets on both the front and back cover. When it comes to a planner, pockets are a must for me!
Just the name of this planner makes me take a big breath and relax. The Simplified Planner “is a beautiful, joyful agenda for busy women in all seasons of life. Designed minimally on purpose, its open pages serve as a fresh start every day.” There are several covers to choose from such as floral (pictured here), stripes and pineapple.
me & my BIG Ideas Create 365 Planner
Do you have some BIG ideas? Well then this is the planner for you! The me & my BIG ideas Create 365 planner combines the love of creativity and organization into one. It has a unique layout with monthly and weekly views, plus 6 double-sided pocket folders in different designs.
The Day Designer is a simple planner to help busy women with focus, productivity and balance. “Whether you’re a working professional, full-time mom, or a diligent student, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and pulled in a million directions.” It sure is, isn’t it?! There’s also a printable library on the site with free pages to print.

The Amy Knapp Family Organizer has it all. From weekly and monthly grids to inspirational quotes and a place to plan your meals. On top of that, it has stickers. What’s not to love?

I really love the Bloom Planner that you’ve featured and the BIG ideas planner too! I’m such a stationary geek so this is really lovely – thanks for featuring such lovely planners, I’m off to buy one!
Thanks Lottie! I can relate to geeking out over stationary. 🙂
Beautiful planners! I’m such a dork when it comes to handwriting everything out and searching for a new planner. I love the ones that have inspirational quotes on the front – something to remember each time you sit down to fill up your schedule a bit more. 🙂
I love those too Mimi! My daughter picked one up at Hobby Lobby for college and it features quotes, stickers…the works.
These are all great! I’ve never seen the Amy Knapp planner…I’ll have to check it out! I’m definitely a pen and pencil type of person.
ahhh! I’m planner obsessed! These are all super gorgeous!
I can see I’m in good company. 🙂
Love this!! I use MyAgenda – it’s a spinoff of the MomAgenda and I love it! xx
I’ve seen that one. I’ll have to check it out!
I use a combination of digital and hardcopy planners too! I’ve heard nothing but good things about the EC planners but I haven’t tried them yet.
I’m thinking about splurging and getting an EC planner. Like you said, I’ve heard nothing but great things about them too!
I currently have the Day Designer, but I was thinking of getting the Simplified Planner next. Either way, they are super cute designs!
I agree! 🙂
Such pretty options! I’m planner obsessed, and can’t wait to find the perfect one for 2017.
How crazy is it that 2017 will be here before we know it? Good luck on your planner search!
oh how I love planners! I used to use the Erin condren for yearssss but found I needed a slimmer one! I’m going to look into these!! That Bloom Planner is pretty!
That Bloom planner caught my eye too 🙂
I’ve tried Bullet Journaling and it helped me tons in my productivity. But something tells me I’ll be grabbing maybe one, two or three of your lovely choices! I love them all!
I need to look into bullet journaling again. I remember being intrigued by it!
It’s funny, but somehow I never think to shop for planners ahead of time. I usually just end up buying one on the spur of the moment. I’m also never quite satisfied with what I get, once I’ve got it home! I love the idea of a really customizable planner. I wonder if some of these have options for a bullet journal too?
That’s a great question! I’m not sure if they do. I definitely need to look into bullet journaling again.
I used to love planners! I still do, but haven’t really used the physical ones. Most of the time I just manage my calendar digitally. It’s so tempting to revert though!
I wish I could go completely digital! I just really need to reign in all of my lists…. 🙂
I am definitely checking these out!
Glad to hear it! Happy shopping. 🙂
Love the Day Designer and the EC Life Planner. Both great planners.
Thanks for stopping by Jenny!
I could easily get lost down the rabbit hole of beautiful planners! lol These are all very lovely and hopefully equally helpful for productivity. I made the switch to completely digital planning a few years ago and it’s been great…but there’s just something about putting pen to paper…
I definitely need one of these! I love cute planners!
Me too 🙂
These planners are so cute! I always buy them and never use them but it may be time to invest in one of these!
Thanks for the great recommendations- I too am a paper person. I have gone digital but like to see everything in both places!
Same here! Thanks for stopping by!
Wow… Cool looking planners. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome Joseyphina 🙂
