When you peek into my closet, you’ll see a few things – tons of dresses, a lot of shoes and a few shells. I wear shells (which I am finding out are defined differently by some) quite a bit in the summer. I consider a lace shell anything from a fitted sleeveless top, to something like I’m wearing above – all of which you have to wear a tank/cami under.
The reason I wear shells so much in the summer is they dress up an outfit in a snap, are not heavy and they’re just so darn cute! I love the unique back design of this shell. It really adds something to it and is completely unexpected.

I turned this simple tank top and jeans into one stylish outfit by adding the lace shell and a few accessories. And cute shoes of course. We can’t forget the cute shoes.
